Welcome to Styled, a monthly column in which I chat with my favorite stylists and costume designers about everything from their personal style to the items in their closets which they can't live without.
Kicking things off, we have one of the most respected and creative stylist's in game, Amber Watkins, whose beautiful work has graced the pages of Teen Vogue, Fashion, Out Mag and Paper, to a name a few. She's also the genius behind all of our creative direction/styling!
Olga: Describe your personal style...using emojis.

O: What do you love most about your job?
A : I love the people I am able to work with regularly - the directors, photographers, makeup and hair artists, models and talent and everyone else who come together to make magic every day. There's no better feeling than respectful and genuine collaboration with designers, colleagues and clients. I feel like I truly do what I love and every project brings its own exciting set of challenges and creativity
O: Who are some of your favourite clients that you've worked with?
A: Well you're paying me to say UNCUFFED is my favourite client so I'll give you your money's worth. JK you are definitely a fave client! Love you! I've also recently started working with Canada's Drag Race Season 1 winner Priyanka and it's been such a fun and creative collaboration. The Campaign for Wool is also a really amazing initiative that I've been fortunate to be involved in. I was able to creative direct and style their campaign video and we are in conversation about new projects this year.

O: What clothing item, shoe or accessory in your closet excites you most right now? Tell us about it!
A: I love so many things in my closet and I feel like I've barely worn any of them this past year. I am the human version of that dog on Tik Tok talking about all their cute outfits they couldn't wear because of the pandemic. If I must pick just one then I would have to say my Stuart Weitzman Mckenzee Boots - they're black leather and lace-up and I feel like they add that perfect edge to any outfit I wear (even sweatpants).
O: Can you pick out an UNCUFFED piece that speaks to you, and tell us how you would style it three different ways / for three different occasions?
A: The leather market tie dress is one of my favourite pieces you have ever made! Now let's see if I am still able to style it thrice...
LOOK 1: I would wear it very stripped down, off-duty 90s model style (I wish), with a black strappy heel and little else for a night out or industry event.
LOOK 2: I would layer it over a white shirt dress and with sneakers for a day look in the Spring when meeting clients. Just need some great sunglasses that I won't lose a week later and I'll be good to go.
LOOK 3: In the colder months I would wear it over a ribbed mock neck dress, tights, an oversized coat and my Weitzman boots! Voila! Still got it!
